In 2022, celebrating Mother’s Day was sweetened in more ways than one as Patchwork, Kwento and Kickback came together to create a special initiative. With every cake purchased, a beautiful gesture of sharing and gratitude unfolded.
Thanks to the Kwento team's efforts, for each cake bought, one was gifted to a youth within our community, allowing them to spread joy with their families on this special day.
Beyond a sweet treat – it was a gesture of appreciation and love that created a moment of joy and togetherness for families in our community. To capture these heartwarming moments, we organized a photoshoot and custom thank you letter for the youth to share with their parents. Although the cake did not last forever (it was too good to not eat) we wanted to make sure the love and connection shared on this special day did.
For those who participated in purchasing, they not only honoured one of the most important people in their lives but also extended that appreciation to another family.
